The Modern Charm - Forks Retreat

Very happy with this place. Clean, roomy and comfortable. Had coffee and creamer for you. In the bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Great location for our itinerary.

My husband had a great time bowling next door! The kitchen was nice and the cottage was very clean. It had everything we needed, including a nice washer and dryer. Our experience would have been enhanced with some color ( maybe art work), a rug or 2, and a lamp or two with lower lighting. Very convenient parking right by the front door. Rachelle was great and answered all our questions.

Given the other options in Forks, this was a good place to stay. It was clean, easy to find and access and has a full kitchen. The furniture was all new, and the office space had a great desk in it. The location is excellent for getting into the Hoh River Valley. While I'm not usually concerned much with décor, that's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The stark, completely bare white walls, white cabinets and gray floors make the space feel like someone hasn't finished moving in yet. Plus, the lack of area rugs or curtains (there are wood slat blinds) makes the place echo, again like an empty house. Overall, the space was much better than staying in a hotel, and we made good use of the kitchen. So, I would likely stay again and recommend it, especially for people who like clean and minimalist interiors.

Very nice accomodations. Extremely clean, easy check-in and out. Great location and host was fantastic at communicating. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

So conveniently located right in the center of town but still secluded! Loved the fire pit area!
